I had a terrible experience with DK Toyz and would not recommend buying from them.
I placed an order for a drill set on 5 July 2026 from Mexico for delivery in India, as it was a birthday gift for my child, whose birthday was on 9 July 2026. The website clearly stated that orders are shipped and delivered within 1–3 days inside India.
However, until 8 July, I received no update about my order. I emailed customer support asking whether the product had been shipped, and got response as will update you only. Even by 11 July, I still hadn't received any meaningful update. I was extremely disappointed and questioned why they accepted my order and advertised a 1–3 day delivery timeline if they couldn't fulfill it.
On 13 July, they simply replied, "We will look into it and update you soon." That was the only response I received. Then, on 14 July, I frustrated and asked for refund, they said they would process a refund. Even after promising a refund, nothing happened unless I repeatedly followed up with them. Instead of refunding the money promptly, they kept asking me to wait a few more days because they claimed they would dispatch the order.
I decided to give them one final chance and waited another week. As expected, there was no update at all.
Finally, on 21 July, I called them. The employee was unprofessional and unable to provide any clear information. I requested to speak with the owner, but she was unavailable and that they would inform her. They given multiple contradictory explanations—they first claimed they had tried to ship the product but couldn't reach me because my phone number was unavailable. When I asked for the shipment tracking ID so I could verify it myself, they changed the story and said the product had to come from the north, which was why it was delayed.
Their responses sounded dishonest and inconsistent. They even asked me to send another email with my complaint, which felt like an unnecessary delay tactic I cut the call.
Ironically, immediately after I ended the call, they processed my refund. If they could issue the refund so quickly, why did they make me chase them for weeks? It clearly showed that they could have resolved the issue much earlier but chose not to. I strongly believe the owner was aware of the situation but avoided taking responsibility by refusing to speak with customers.
This was one of the worst online shopping experiences I have ever had. Poor communication, false delivery promises, inconsistent explanations, lack of accountability, and making customers repeatedly follow up for both order updates and refunds are completely unacceptable.
I would strongly advise potential customers to think twice before ordering from DK Toyz.
